Art on Film

This is the 1st set for Art on Film, i helped out where i could in the artwork/set build on each set and the final image was amazing. I really enjoyed helping out on this shoot as it was so creative and everyone worked so well together.

The face the art department made, i helped to secure it into the set.

Me helping out securing the head.

Martin making final checks on the set.
This is how the set looked through the camera lens
The actors in the set and Owen (director)

Me sound mixing, my job on the days but i helped in art too.
The second set, a man telling his wife he's cheating on her, their child is on the stairs listening in.
Rehearsals, the child was sat at behind the banister, this is all in the studio.
Before the sets were built or dressed.
These are what we made trees out of, they looked way better on camera within the forest we made.
George when he helped me carry 500ltrs of water around the building into the set where we created a small pond to look like a lake.
This is the lake and forest i helped make in the studio, it was a lot of hard work but looks amazing!
How the set looked from far back, totally different on camera.
George and Howard when we were gathering branches and logs for the set.
This is a sheet from my sound notes i made on the day, as the sound mixer i had to make detailed notes on each take so they can be sent to the editor to make his job easier.

                                                  Our main studio floor
I went to a showing at the Stockport Plaza where the creator of IMDB gave advice and tips. He told us how he started the Business as a boy by writing down film reviews and it just blossomed from there, i found it really interesting how something so small can grow so big and fast in this industry.
